As a follow up to last years’ extremely successful event Un Lunes de Enero en La Sabana, the Costa Rican Ministry of Culture will now present "Un Domingo de Febrero en la Estacion" (A February Sunday at the Station) around San Jose’s Atlantic Railway Station.
The activity is for free, it will take place on February 5 as of 4 p.m.; participants include Akasha (Music), Ale Fdez (Music), Ana Istarú (Poetry), Cocofunka (Music), Editus 360 (Music), Esteban Chinchilla (Poetry), Exánima (Dance), Grafitteros (Performing Arts), Grupo de Parkour (Performing Arts), Grupo Perro Cerámico (Performing Arts), Haury (Music), Humberto Vargas (Music), La Cuneta Son Machín (Music), La Piel De Naranja (Dance), Luis Chaves (Poetry), María Montero (Poetry), Osvaldo Sauma (Poetry), Patiño Quintana (Music), Rialengo (Music), Rumba Jam y Bernardo Quesada (Music), Sight of Emptiness(Music), Sonámbulo (Music), Son de Tikizia (Music), Son Urbano (Music), and Un Rojo (Music). A Foundation supports and co-organizes different events in Costa Rica’s Greater Metropolitan Area that motivate the use and appropriation of urban public space, especially –as in this case- in and around areas that respond to the idea of a green trajectory for urban recreation and transport, a project called Trama Verde.
