CAC.CC-02

CAC.CC-02 is the second in a series of case study homes named C.A.C..

The building is characterized by its flexible floor plan: moving walls adapt the rooms and terraces to different configurations, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside activities. Its bioclimatic architecture responds to the local hot and humid climate.

Situated on a remote site along the exotic southern coast of Costa Rica's Caribbean, the house is designed to be fully autosufficient in terms of services. Energy is provided by solar power and biogas, rain water is recollected to be used as grey water by the inhabitants.
