C.Y.F.

With a set of interrelated projects, we aim at a redefinition of the banal in-between space with its Mc Building style constructions that dominate the urban/suburban landscape in Costa Rica and other sprawled and car dependent societies worldwide; we call it "©architecture".

Cambio Y Fuerra (C.Y.F.) literally translates to "in and out"; representing a concept of pit-stop-car-maintenance where cars are serviced in the fastest way possible.

In a car dependent urban environment, the maintenance of traffic flows is crucial to the urban functioning. This building is aiming at an optimized process with the architecture servicing the car user. The building itself is designed as a machine as well as an icon and orientation point in San Jose's high end district Escazu.
